Biomechanical Regulators: Lower Extremeties (BMRLE) is a prerequisite class for Physical/Energetic Interface: Neuro 2 and the Mentorship Program.
Class Prerequisites: Core Concepts, Biomechanical Regulators: Foundations and Manual Perception 1
Course Description: This four-day workshop will expose students who have previously taken Biomechanical Regulators: Foundations, to more regulators for the knee, ankle, foot and hip. The main focus of this course, however, is the study of a new model for movement analysis, based on the discovery of a complex pattern of movement throughout the body that exists independently of volitional movement. Interaction with assisting the body in shifting this underlying pattern has a profound effect on gait, joint motion and pain. New foundation work includes working with sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve influences. Using the techniques in one’s practice has yielded phenomenal results, according to past participants.

Course Outline: Please note that time adds up to 26 contact hours, allowing for 5 minute a.m. and p.m. breaks. The breakdown here is a guideline. Some groups prefer to have longer breaks and shorter lunches, depending on proximity of eating establishments. Some groups prefer the option of an early start and/or shorter lunch on the final day of the course to allow for travel time.

Day Two: a.m. 9:00 – 12:30 (2 hours theory and concepts, 1 ½ hours lab and skills)
Day Two: p.m. 2:00 – 5:00 (2 hours theory and concepts, 1 hour lab and skills)
Day Three: a.m. 9:00 – 12:30 (2.5 hours theory and concepts, 1 hour lab and skills)
Day Three: p.m. 2:00 – 5:00 (1.5 hours theory and concepts, 1.5 hours lab and skills)
Day Four: a.m.9:00 - 12:30 (2 hours theory and concepts, 1.5 hours lab and skills)
Day Four: p.m. 2:00 – 5:00 (1.5 hours theory and concepts, 1.5 hours lab and skills)
Total: 15.5 hours theory and concepts, 10.5 hours lab and skills: 26 contact hours
Illuminatis/Biovalent ® Systems ( Provider Number P3337) is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education (CE) for Certified Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program has been approved for a maximum of 26 hours of Category A CE. ATs are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the CE activity.
